Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026Overview
RackUp™ ("the app") is operated by Spinfluence LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We built RackUp with privacy in mind. The core app experience — scoring matches and using all game formats — requires no account and collects no personal information.
Information We Collect
Free users (no account): We collect no personal information. Match data is stored locally on your device only.
RackUp Pro subscribers: To create an account and enable match history syncing, we collect:
- Email address (for account authentication)
- Match history and player profile data you create
- Subscription status (managed through the App Store or Google Play)
We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain your session
- Sync and store your match history across devices (Pro only)
- Process and verify your subscription status
- Respond to support requests you submit
We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Data Storage & Security
Free tier match data is stored exclusively on your device and never transmitted to our servers. Pro account data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage for Pro accounts.
Third-Party Services
RackUp uses the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): Authentication and cloud data storage for Pro accounts
- Apple App Store / Google Play: Subscription billing and management
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them. We do not control the data practices of these third-party services.
Affiliate Referral Tracking
RackUp operates an Affiliate Program that allows independent
promoters to earn a commission when people they refer subscribe to RackUp Pro. To make this work,
we have to log a small amount of information when someone arrives at rackuppool.com
via an affiliate link (a URL containing a ?ref= parameter).
What we log on a referred visit:
- Your IP address
- The date and time of the visit
- Your browser user-agent string (e.g., “Chrome 120 on iOS”)
- The referring URL, if your browser provides one
- The landing path on our site (e.g.,
/?ref=ABC123) - The affiliate code the link was tagged with
We also set a first-party cookie on your device (named rackup_ref) that stores
the affiliate code for up to 30 days. This cookie is used solely to attribute a future RackUp Pro
subscription back to the affiliate who referred you — it is not used for cross-site tracking,
advertising, or profiling, and it is not shared with any third party.
How we use this information:
- To determine which affiliate should be credited (and paid) for a subscription
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or click-spoofing of the Affiliate Program
- For aggregate reporting (e.g., total clicks, conversion rates) provided to the affiliate
Retention: Referral visit records are retained for as long as the associated affiliate account is active, plus up to 24 months thereafter for tax, accounting, and audit purposes.
How to opt out: You can prevent referral tracking by
(a) visiting rackuppool.com directly without a ?ref=
parameter, (b) clearing your browser cookies for this domain, or (c) using your browser's private/incognito mode.
You may also request deletion of any referral records associated with your IP by contacting us at
mike@spinfluence.us.
If you sign up to become a RackUp affiliate, we additionally collect the information you voluntarily provide (name, email, password, contact and payout details, and a description of how you plan to promote RackUp). This information is used solely to administer your affiliate account and pay you commissions, and is governed by the Affiliate Terms of Service.
Data Retention & Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the RackUp app (Settings → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all account data — including match history and player profiles — is permanently removed from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
If you have an active Pro subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before deleting your account to avoid future charges.
Children's Privacy
RackUp is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
