Certified RackUp Matches
Certified matches are played in all three. Certified players can compete in tournaments and other contests. A top APA player maxes out at SL9 in 9-Ball and SL7 in 8-Ball. The 0–100 RackUp Rating is the room above that, toward semi-pro and professional play.
The RackUp Rating (RISE-1) runs from 0 to 100 and is recalculated after every match.
0–100
Approximate starting ratings. APA tops out at SL9 / SL7, around 75. RackUp’s 75–100 range is where top amateurs, semi-pros, and pros separate.
Starting ratings are capped at 75, so a 700 or 800 FargoRate starts at 75. The formula 10 + FargoRate / 10 would be 80 and 90. Starting values also blend in self-rating, and the rating then moves with every Certified Match.
